Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is driven by insurance and Health & Safety regulations, and is aimed at making sure all of your appliances are safe and fit for purpose. It will include a visual inspection and all necessary testing.

We can cover all testing needs, from small independent clients right up to large multi site organisations.  As part of our service a reminder will be sent to you before your testing is due again.

Fixed Electrical Appliances can also be tested by us and are appliances wired to and connected directly into the system, rather than connected via a plug, eg. hand dryers or extractor fans. Safety testing of fixed appliances can be confused with fixed wiring tests. Such appliances, however, are not covered under the Condition Report for fixed wiring. Fixed Appliance Testing (FAT) follows the same lines as PAT.
